About the Artist
My name is Trey Martinez, the accordionist & harmonica player of Austin’s only Tex-Mex Rock n’ Blues band, South Train. We are a blend of Tex-Mex rock, blues, and Conjunto! Original music and some unique covers with a Tex-Mex twist. We have been described as “Texas Tornados on steroids” and “Flaco Jimenez meets ZZ Top”.
We’ve had the honor of opening for the Grammy award winning Texas Tornados as well as blues virtuoso Hamiton Loomis, and Austin Music Award winner, Bob Scheinder.
