From Fargo, North Dakota, Jeff’s first band hired a 13 year old singer/guitar player named Jonny Lang. After much success in Minneapolis, Jeff headed straight down IH 35 to Austin, TX in 1998. He’s been in several successful acts including Joanna Ramirez, Teddy Morgan and the Pistolas, The Bernard Allison Group, Matthew Robinson and the Jelly Kings, John Gaar, The Milligan Vaughan Project, and his own group; Jeff and the Jumptones. Jeff learned all sorts of styles of Blues through his travels and loves to jump from Chicago to Texas, Louisiana to the East Coast!
