About the Artist
Dan Guevara
Dan Guevara is a singer-songwriter born in Georgetown, Texas, and has been performing and writing music for 9 years. Currently, he performs with Singer-Songwriters such as Brett McMinn and Alex Winters. He was also the drummer with the band, “Cityline Horizon” who performed all around the Austin Area. Sadly the Band Split up Back in 2012.
While growing up, Dan was heavily Influenced by Elvis Presley and his mother, who is an independent music teacher. Dan started taking guitar lessons at the age of 17 and has been writing songs ever since. At the age of 20, he decided to attend school at The Recording Conservatory of Austin, to study Music Production and Sound Engineering. At 23, he began his solo career and has been performing all around the Georgetown, Round Rock, and Austin area ever since.
Dan Guevara combines baritone vocals with laid-back acoustic instrumentation. He occasionally uses reggae, hip-hop, and soca singing styles.
